YOU ASKED! I ANSWER! PART 3
You mentioned York Powers in your recent blog. He is so hot. Tell us about him.
I've had a few experiences shooting York, all as a cameraman. He's a very sexual guy, horny as a mo-fo and a good performer. I remember him very enthusiastically fucking MARK KRONER in DEEPER THROAT and being on one end of a hot fuck session, staring at SAM CROCKETT, who was fucking someone else at the same time. That was in SIZE IS EVERYTHING.
But my best memory of York is from SEX IN THE CITY, where he played the Samantha-type character. You know, the slut. Coming to a FAB (snap) U (snap) LOUS brunch in a mesh t-shirt and leather pants, how could he be otherwise? I remember his dialogue took the longest to shoot, because he kept flubbing lines and cracking up. ERIC HANSON took a long time, too, because he speaks so softly, the camera couldn't pick him up! (Eric, by the way, did this movie on the sly, as he had promised his at-that-time boyfriend, porn star DIEGO STEFANO, that he wouldn't do any more videos. Tony Alizzi told me that he had to pick Eric up a block away from his house, then drive the long way around so the boyfriend wouldn't see him.) ANYway, York's scene was a leather/dungeon thing with MARK REED. Now, I remember being extremely tired when we shot this. It had been a grueling day, working in a small room where it was hotter inside than outside. It took all day to do, and THEN Tony insisted on shooting York's scene next. I wasn't happy about it, but I understand the financial problems associated with rescheduling.
So, York and Mark were decked out in leather in the tiny, tiny dungeon, which had a pole to tie people to and a sling. On both sides of the sling, the walls were covered with floor-to-ceiling mirrors. My first thought was "How am I going to shoot this without catching myself in the mirror? And with TWO cameras!" I figured out a plan of attack, and we were off. Now, York is funny. Funny to the point of being silly, sometimes. He can be almost giddy in his humor. He was decked out in leather, really camping it up, hissing his s's and so forth. It reminded me of when I shot THREE DEGREES OF HUMILIATION with COLE TUCKER, who I got on film prancing around in his leather gear quoting lines from AUNTIE MAME. "Don't let a frame of that get into the finished movie!" Alizzi barked. Like I would.
York began the scene by tying Mark to the pole, leaving his feet free (a porn rule to keep such stuff from incurring the wrath of the government is that you can tie a model's hands or you can tie his feet, but you cannot tie both, if he's having sex. The reason being that the model has to be able to either free himself or run away, so the government knows he isn't really being restrained and raped against his will.) After some oral sex, York puts Mark in the sling. Tony had some big dildos with suction cups at the end, and he stuck them to the mirrored wall. The idea was for York to back up and fuck himself on them. But the mirrors had been cleaned with window cleaner right before the scene started, and the dildos, once stuck to the wall, would slowly slide down until they were on the floor. This struck us all funny, but York in particular. He backed his ass onto one of the dildos, then acting like it was sliding to the floor, taking him with it. I saw York most recently in JOE GAGE'S SEX FILES VOL. 2: UNCLE PRUITT MADE ME DO IT, and he was still hot.
From Jeir:
First, thanks for the great movies you have made. More on that another time. What was your favorite movie and your favorite scene, sex or otherwise? Also without giving too much away, roughly how much does it cost to make a movie and how is it financed, are there investors?
Another time?? There's always time to lay on the compliments, pal! lol. I'm assuming we're talking about the movies I've directed. My favorite project as a "movie" experience, the one that I'd pick to be shown on HERE! if asked, would be DIRTY LITTLE SINS.

With a strong story, fantastic acting and hot sex, it is the essential Jett Blakk movie. And, as Bill Cosby used to say at the beginning of every episode of FAT ALBERT, "You might just learn something if you're not careful." My favorite sex scene that I've shot? Hmmmm. This is tough, because it changes all the time. I'll list my top 5 in both categories.

As for how much these movies cost, well, I must be a bit tight-lipped here, but I will tell you this: I've worked in some form or other on movies that have cost as little as $4000 (before post-production) and some that have cost over $100,000. Post-production expenses are around $7000-$10,000. Sometimes there are investors, usually to start the company up and running. I looked for investors who would help me start Red Devil, then after a year, let me buy them out. I couldn't find any who had terms I liked. Then, I came into a windfall of money and was able to do it myself. That led to THE BOMBARDIER.
Let me ask you a question: what do you look for when you want to buy/rent a video? An attractive box? The reputation of the company? Good stories? No story? New guys? Old favorites? A mix of the two? Exotic locations? Do you prefer taboo stuff like father/son, watersports or vanilla sex? Daddies? Muscle guys? Twinks? A cheap price? I'm curious as to what your answers are.
