GAYVNS TONIGHT!
The GayVNs, the Academy Awards of the gay porn industry, are tonight. Red Devil has been granted seven nominations for DIRTY LITTLE SINS.
I do have a speech prepared, so on the off chance that I win something, I won't be taken by surprise like I was 2 years ago at the Grabbys.
Of course, the important thing is—what to wear?? I know I'll be adorned in black jeans, but I'm going to head out to a shop in Glendale to get a new shirt.
I must admit to being a bit nervous, but the open bar from 6:30 to 8 should take care of that! lol
From what I've read in the gossip columns and heard around, Best Actor is most likely a toss-up between BRAD BENTON and GUS MATTOX. C'mon, Brad! JACOB SLADER is the favorite, supposedly, for Best Supporting Actor. Keep your fingers crossed for Jacob!
BONESAW was finished today and laid to tape. I'm very pleased with it and will be anxious to read the reviews. I talked a little bit with JEREMY SPENCER at Adonis yesterday about a new project. We'll see what develops. We discussed two: another horror film or a VERY dark romance (a la CANVAS). And of course, if it does well enough, no one can rule out BONESAW II. lol. Make it a hit when it comes out!
Finally, pre-production progresses with MASQUE. I only need to cast the last two models and we're done. Some of the guys have been fitted for their costumes. TY HUDSON will be a roman centurion. Jacob Slader will be an Elizabethan. CHRIS DANO will be an Egyptian pharoah. JASON CREW will be Aladdin.
I've decided to invite the press to the shoot, as it is something of an event. Of course, I will continue to keep everyone informed.
I'm going to practice my speech now, just in case I get to use it.
