Tomorrow I leave for Las Vegas to shoot a video for ROD ROCKHARD. It's the third in his series of black videos called, appropriately, NEVER ENOUGH III. I'll be shooting and editing the film for him, and I'm looking forward to it. Rod's a nice guy, and this ought to be a good experience. I don't think I've worked with any of the models he'll be using (I'll see if he'll let me post a picture or two), and Rod will be appearing in a future Red Devil project to be filmed later this year.

I really enjoy going to Vegas. There's something wonderfully trashy about the city, but the drive is very calming. It takes about four hours, and I usually listen to some music on my ipod for the first hour, then switch over to an audio book for the rest of the journey. Tomorrow I'll be listening to Al Franken's "The Truth (With Jokes)", which I'm already about a third of the way through. Al is a very funny man, and his book brings up some very serious political questions. I also have it in hardcover autographed by the man himself, a Christmas present from my hubby.

I'll return on Friday, just in time to put the finishing touches on the pre-production for MASQUE. We are now fully cast, and I'll be posting the roster later today.
