BONESAW: THE PREMIERE

I arrived at DREW WARNER's studio around 7:45 with CVK and BOOMASTER. Drew had the place looking really nice, with track spot lighting and candles. There was a makeshift bar set up in one corner and hottie ZACKARY PIERCE was bartending in little black mesh speedos and his traditional headhugger.

After us, JACOB SLADER was the next to arrive, chatting with us about his upcoming trip to Chicago for the Grabby Awards, followed in July by his move to Japan. Not too far behind him was DAMON PHOENIX, who looked at me and said, "Don't I know you? You look familiar." I was about to remind him of his kissing me for the Grabbys video opening, but he smiled and patted my knee. "I remember," he said. Once Jett Blakk kisses them, they never forget it! lol

The crowd rounded out to about 22, with BRETT MATHEWS, MICKEY SKEE, J.C. ADAMS, JEREMY SPENCER, KENSINGTON STONE, LIMP WRIST, TREVOR KNIGHT, ROSS CANNON and their friends also in attendance. J.C. Adams talked to me about MARS NEEDS MEN, asking me where I get my ideas from. The truth is, and most writers will tell you this, I don't know. They just come to me. I write every idea down and alter it or add to it when things flesh out more. J.C. told me how much he loved the film and how well it worked. That was really sweet of him. Drew's dog Ty was a big hit, and the beer, wine, vodka and tequila were all flowing freely. At 9:15 (fifteen minutes later than I wanted), I asked people to take their seats.

I stood up in front of the room and thanked everyone for coming, then explained that we'd be seeing a shortened version of the movie, and with that, sat next to the projector. Of course, as I anticipated (nothing ever goes right in these situations), there was some technical problems. The projector wasn't getting the signal from the DV deck, and after futzing with it for five minutes, I finally just reset everything, and voila! We were off and running.

The movie went over well. People were laughing and howling, as I knew they would. Brett Mathews and his friends were "MST3King" it, but there were two moments when the movie "got" them, and they screamed like little girls. lol. After the film, everyone applauded heartily. There were cries of "BONESAW 2!" and just about everyone came up to me to tell me how much they liked the movie. Jeremy Spencer gave out about two dozen free dvds of it, and people were practically snatching them out of his hands, as well as the movie's posters. One guy came up to me and Brett and asked us to sign his poster. I scratched my name on it first, then Brett bent over, his sharpie hovering over the paper, and said, "I don't know what to write." I suggested he write his line from the film, "Quick! Suck my cock!" and he laughed and did just that. Wrote the line, not performed the action, that is, although who knows how he spent the rest of his evening.

About eleven o'clock, people started leaving, and thirty minutes later, the joint was clear, except for Drew, Zackary, CVK, Boomaster and myself. We cleaned up the studio and hugged everyone goodbye, a nice ending to a successful night.
