PRODUCTION DIARY: STEPHEN--DAY THREE

After many days of negotiating, I finally procured the location for our third day of shooting: INDIAN SPRINGS RANCH, deep in the horse country of Lakeview Terrace. I got up early in order to stop by 7-11 for some ice for the cooler, then at Burger King for breakfast sandwiches, then to the Motel 6 to meet NICK MARINO, who followed me out to the location. We got there at 9:00, and I pulled off the side of the road to unchain the fence and slide the gate open. We drove up to the A-framed house which was posing as the fishing cabin where Stephen and Doug were going to spend the night.

I knocked on the door, setting off a ferocious yapping of two small dogs, who jumped in the air and barked their wee heads off as I peered through the glass window. After the third knock, a short handsome man with salt-and-pepper hair, pale skin and a hairy chest padded his way to the door and opened it, his bathrobe pulled loosely around him. "Yes?" he said, sleepily.

"We're the shoot," I explained. "We've booked this house for today."

"Okay," he said and turned to head back down the hallway. I stood there, unsure of what I was to do, when he turned and said, "Are you coming in or letting the dogs out?"

"I'm used to being invited in to someone's house," I replied, and the guy headed back upstairs.

Nick and I began unloading equipment at the side of the house, as WICKERMAN, the p.a. for that day, had to pick up two models and would show up later. ANTHONY DURAN and DAMON DEVINE showed up. I asked Damon how he was doing, as he had experienced a traumatic event the day before. He assured me he was fine, so he set up his makeup table inside and began to prepare Nick for his layout. Anthony liked a little benched area next to the hot tub for the photos, so he sat his equipment up to shoot there.

I prepared the bedroom myself. We shot in what I at first thought was the bedroom of a little girl, as there was Hello Kitty stuff everywhere, but intermingled with all of it were posters of Che Guevara and Bob Marley, and on the dresser was a half-empty tube of some kind of vaginal irritation creme. Yuck.

I stripped her bed and put our own sheets on, then set up my lights for the scene. Since it was supposed to be nighttime, I put a blue gel with a sheet of diffusion over the light to keep it moody and cool.

Nick finished his layout, and by that time Tory had arrived. In and out of makeup, and Nick and Tory were ready for their scene. They snuggled up underneath the covers in the bedroom, and I flicked on the lights. Before long, they were kissing and thrashing all over each other. And as their sexual heat rose, so did the heat in the room. This was a small room with dark walls. No air conditioning. No air circulation of any kind. I had sweat running down my forehead into my eyes. The models' bodies glistened with perspiration (which looked awesome). We took several breaks to rehydrate, and I had to shoot their fucking at various angles so as not to get pics of Che and Bob (and Kitty) in the background. Two cum shots later, and we were done.

Now, while all of this was going on, Wickerman had gone to LAX to pick up TYLER RIGGZ, who had flown in from a city on the east coast to do the film. Tyler was waiting for him, but the airline (FRONTIER, thank you) had lost his luggage, and there were things in it he desperately needed. Wickerman circled the airport for an hour while Tyler tried to find out where his luggage was, and finally, with a phone number to call later to check and see if it had turned up, they left for Hollywood to pick up JORDAN VAUGHN, who was supposed to meet them on a certain corner an hour earlier. Jordan had lost his cell phone, so communication was impossible.



So instead of meeting him at 11, they showed up at noon, and luckily, he was still there. They arrived on set at 1pm, just as I was finishing up Nick and Tory's scene. Anthony did a quick and fabulous layout on Jordan, then started one on Tyler. Nick graciously agreed to wait as we were using his jeep in the layout. Suddenly Anthony appeared at my shoulder. "Do the people who live here know what we're doing?" he asked, agitated.

"Yes," I explained. "There are porn shoots here all the time."

"An SUV with some kids in it just drove by and saw Tyler fully naked. They honked their horn and the kids waved at us."

"Oh, well, as long as they were waving and not screaming in terror, I'm sure it's okay," I said.

"Kids seeing what we're doing freaks me out," Anthony said.

"I'm sure it's okay," I reassured him.

"Listen, we have another problem," he said, drawing me closer as he lowered his voice. "The layout isn't going well. Tyler is so distracted by his lost luggage that it's affecting his layout. He can't stand still, he's having trouble with his hard-on, not to mention he hasn't slept in several days. He's a big star, and I don't want to do a lousy layout on him."

"What do you suggest?" I asked.

"See if he will agree to shoot his layout on another day," Anthony said. "I want him to look good."

I talked to Tyler, who told me that he was concerned about his luggage and apologized for his inability to focus. "It's just that there's something in there that I really really need," he said. We called the airport and his luggage had been found, so I sent Wickerman and Damon to go fetch it while we started the scene. But there was another problem...

Their scene was to have been a 3-way, but the third model's agent called me to inform me that the guy couldn't show up because he had bleeding hemorroids. Who did I want to replace him with?

I thought about this and realized that to replace him would take about 2 hours, at least, and I was ready to shoot. I told the agent I'd call him back if I needed the replacement and went to talk to Tyler. Why Tyler? Here's what I was thinking:

I could save time...a LOT of time...by simply turning the 3-way into a 2-way. But this meant that either Jordan or Tyler would have to bottom. Now, Jordan WILL NOT BOTTOM...at least yet...and even if he was amenable to it, there's no way he'd take Tyler's big cock. But Tyler told me on the phone that he had bottomed in another video and a few times in his personal life, so I knew he was the one to approach.

I took Tyler aside and explained the situation to him. I told him it would take 2 hours to get a replacement up there, but if he would bottom for Jordan, we could start now. "How big is he?" Tyler asked, motioning over his shoulder at Jordan. "Let me put it this way," I told him. "You can take him more easily that he could take you." Tyler smiled and rubbed a hand over his face. "Look," I continued, "I was going to pay the 3rd guy $****. If you bottom, I'll give you his money." That clinched the deal. "Let's do it," Tyler said with a smile.

And he did.



I later found out that this was only his second time bottoming on camera and SIXTH in his life!

The sun was sinking fast, and we were racing. I had to be out of there by 7:00pm or pay more money. The guys popped their loads at 6:30pm, and we scrambled to get everyone showered, paid, the equipment packed and loaded. We all hugged each other goodbye with Tyler promising to come by my house in two days to do his layout, and I was the last one to leave the property, shutting the gate and putting the chain back in place at exactly 7:00pm.

Once home, I kissed CVK, who was back from visiting his mother. He helped me unload my car, then we ate dinner and I showered the dirt and grime off my body. On the whole, it had not been a bad day, and I did like shooting at the ranch.

Little did I know that for one of us, the ranch had left a parting gift that would cause more problems...
